What is this course about?

This 100-hour module weaves Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra into a holistic journey of intentional stillness inner awareness and deep release. You will explore long-held postures and mindful stress to understand their effect on connective tissue the nervous system and rest responses while gradually experiencing the different layers and stages of Yoga Nidra yourself. Through embodied practice theory and reflection you will develop the ability to teach safe well-structured classes and to guide students into profound states of rest healing balance and conscious presence.

What you'll Learn

Yoga Nidra Foundations
You will explore the origin and development of Yoga Nidra and the philosophy behind the practice. This includes the five Koshas their relationship to Yoga Nidra different types of tension and the benefits of deep conscious rest.

Inner Awareness and Conscious Practice
You will learn about Chidakasha as the inner mind screen, Sankalpa as the seed of change and Ishtadevata as an image of higher consciousness. The training covers the five stages of Yoga Nidra different types of awareness the experience of opposites and their effects on the brain as well as Karma theory visualization and Yoga Nidra as a practice of Pratyahara.

Teaching Yoga Nidra
This part focuses on how to hold space consciously and safely and how to set up the classroom including equipment and props.

Yin Yoga Foundations
You will study the history and background of Yin Yoga and gain an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine including meridians and the Five Elements. The module also covers functional anatomy relevant to Yin postures and an introduction to the nervous system.

Yin Yoga Class Design
You will learn how to sequence Yin classes with intention and thematic depth while creating grounding and welcoming spaces for diverse students and individual needs.

​Requirements for Participation

Completion of 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is recommended but not required. Participants should feel confident in their personal practice and teaching foundation in order to fully engage with the advanced content of this module.

Graduation & Certification

Upon successful completion of the 100h Yin & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training participants receive an official Yoga Alliance–recognized certificate. The training hours may be used for Continuing Education (YACEP) or credited toward a 300h Advanced Yoga Teacher Training following Yoga Alliance standards.
